I thank you for purchasing my guide and I am available in case you have any questions on it after purchasing it. I tried to write this guide to incorporate as much valuable information as possible when it comes to doxing, but I also made sure to keep everything relevant and to the point to best help you understand the main concepts of doxing, as well as the methods involved in completing a dox on a person. Firstly, it is important to understand what doxing really is. Doxing, as I see it, is a process in which you (the doxer) attempt to collect as much relevant information as you can on a specific target who will become the victim of a dox if you can successfully carry this task out, and then publishing this information for anybody and everybody to view as much as they like on the internet. Doxing can be defined in many ways, but in basic terms it is finding the personal information as well as other information on a person (usually by extensive searching on the internet) and putting it all together and then publishing it to the internet. I also consider it important to understand the benefits of doxing a person. Most doxers will not dox somebody without a reason - reasons that doxers dox people include the target being a scammer, a so called "skid", a provocative person as well as the cases where people order a person to be doxed, and so there is a financial incentive for the person who is carrying out the doxing. Also, doxing can be important for people who are concerned about the online security of their identity; if you were worried about somebody doxing you, you could attempt to dox yourself or ask somebody to dox you (which makes more sense) and then you could take the appropriate steps to de-trace yourself and make yourself much harder to dox, depending on the amount of information available after the process of de-tracing. Additionally, doxing a target can be beneficial because a lot of people are uncomfortable with having their personal information put into one place and published on the internet. Why? It is pretty simple - people feel threatened as they can become the victims of pranks such as swatting and pizza bombing, and they can be harrassed all day and their family is at risk. However, doxing somebody can also teach them a lesson. If a scammer is doxed, they may rethink what they are doing and stop scamming. Of course, there are also some negatives attached to the act doxing people. If a doxer chooses to put his or her alias on a dox they have produced, they can become a target for other doxers and for individuals who are friends with the doxed person. This should not be too much of a problem as you can opt to not include your alias on doxes, and if you de-trace yourself to a certain extent it will certainly make it harder for anybody to dox you. Other negatives of doxing include that it could get you banned in certain communities on the internet as many of these communities are against the posting of the personal information of members. Again, this can be avoided by not adding your alias to the doxes you make and using a disposable account to inform the victim about the dox, or alternatively getting somebody else to send it to them. Therefore I suggest that you do not include your alias on doxes, and that you do not brag about doxing people. After all, your main goal when doxing should not be to gain respect or followers, but to complete the dox as well as you possibly can, and then making sure that your next dox tops the last one; a hard act to follow after you become an experienced and prolific doxer. Hopefully the above text has provided you a good introduction to this e-book and to the most basic definitions and effects of doxing. By the time you reach the end of this e-book, you should have learned some very helpful methods in doxing individuals, as well as other important lessons such as distributing doxes, always looking to add to your knowledge, and certain reminders that you should keep in the back of your head as you set off on a quest for an individual's personal information. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x01 - Doxing Methods │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ What you must always remember is that there is always information available for the majority of people who use the internet, as people tend to register for a lot of websites without thinking about their privacy or security. More advanced users may still register for a lot of websites, but will make sure to break any links between their different aliases and of course any links between any of their aliases and their real information such as their real name. So the point is - usually when you are attempting to dox someone, the information is just a few searches away; the important task is getting that information and following different leads that can lead to more information. The methods you use are going to be quite constant in the majority of your doxes. Start by making a new .txt file in your favorite text editor and neatly write down all the information you have on the target. Information such as aliases, e-mails, IP addresses (which can be obtained by Skype Resolvers for example), online accounts and locations are always essential to be included. These, in some way or another, will lead you to the information that you are aiming for - their personal information, such as their name, exact address, family details, phone numbers and images of them in real life. Obviously, the more information you have at the start, the better, but I have completed doxes where I had very little information on the target in terms of quantity, such as a few aliases and contact methods. After you have jotted down that information, launch up your favorite web browser and head over to Google. Whenever I dox someone, I always google every single bit of information I get on them that can lead to more information. Now how you start looking for that information always depends on what that information is, so I have broken the next part of the e-book into different sections. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x02 - E-mail Addresses │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ E-mail addresses are extremely useful, mainly because by searching them on different sites you are able to find the online accounts (including social media profiles) of the target. Not only that, but you can also get clues from looking at parts of recovery information on most e-mail providers. If you go to Hotmail and attempt to reset an e-mail's password, you can usually see parts of the recovery e-mail and/or the phone number, which will help you confirm that you found the right information and that your dox is on the right track in the future. Likewise, if you are after somebody's Facebook profile then you can search the e-mail address into Facebook's search and it may link to a profile. If you want somebody's Skype account(s), you can search it on Skype and you will see which Skype accounts are linked to that email. The best site I have found which returns profiles linked to an e-mail address is Pipl (http://Pipl.com). After inputting an e-mail address, you have the chance to see different profiles linked to the address and/or profiles which use part of the address in them - e.g. the e-mail is [email protected] and Pipl may return a YouTube profile with the display name "Master1001001". Another tip is to look for more e-mail addresses that are similar to that one. Continuing with our example, you could check if [email protected] and [email protected] are taken; if they are, it is almost certainly going to belong to the person you are after as "Master1001001" is not a shuffler alias (an alias which is extremely common and generic such as "cat" or "Anonymous"). A tool which you can use to find out if an e-mail address is valid or not is the following one: https://tools.email-checker.com/ So the bottom line is, if you happen to have the e-mail address of a person you want to dox, you are in luck as you can find a whole lot of information just by having a single e-mail address. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x03 - Aliases │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ Aliases are probably the most likely piece of information that you will find yourself with when doxing someone, for obvious reasons. Everybody on the internet uses an alias in one way or another, whether it corresponds to their actual name or if it is just a random sequence of numbers. However, it is important to look out for people who use the aforementioned shuffler aliases in an attempt to make themselves harder to trace, as well as people who impersonate others - although this is much less likely to encounter. If you have an alias of your target, then it would be wise to also give it a search on Pipl (http://Pipl.com) for reasons mentioned above. It is also a good idea to google the alias, and then to do so by putting quotation marks (") before and after the alias. This will return results where the alias appears exactly (as is) on websites indexed by Google. If the person is using somewhat of a shuffler alias which is quite common but not so common that it would be nearly impossible to narrow somebody down using that alias, e.g. Master1, then you can narrow down results by searching the following: "Master 1" "[location]" and/or "[e-mail address]" and/or "[other detail]" By doing that, you are telling Google to return results where all of those details appear on the same page which could then lead you to more details that could be very useful in completing your dox on the target. Make sure to try different combinations, as it is unlikely that all of that information will appear on the same page. Also, if you have somebody's alias it is often easy to find their email. If somebody's alias is "Master1", then there is a good chance that they own an e-mail in the format of Master1@[emailprovider].com. You can confirm this by finding out if the e-mail address is registered, and if it is not, you can then use the methods you have learned about finding more information by starting off with an e-mail address. In summary, starting off with an alias in hand is probably going to be what you will always find yourself doing. Aliases can be tricky because of the problem of shuffler aliases, where many people use the same alias. However, aliases can lead you to e-mail addresses and can also reveal details about the target - for example if somebody's alias is a Russian word then it is likely that they are Russian and/or live in Russia. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x04 - IP Addresses │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ IP Addresses are not usually a piece of information that you will start off with when doxing but a lot of the time they are easily obtained. The most obvious method is by resolving the target's Skype account on any Skype resolver, such as http://mostwantedhf.info | http://skresolver.com | http://skyperesolved.com and so forth. If one resolver fails, try another one. A lot of the time resolvers tend to experience a lot of downtime. However, there are ways to block Skype from giving out your IP to resolvers, by going to your Skype application and going to Tools > Options > Advanced > Connection > Tick "Allow direct connection to your contacts only". Other ways to obtain IP addresses include sending the target an IP grabber which will send you their IP once they have clicked on the link you sent them. The average online web booter provides you with an IP grabber. If you do not have a booter account, then I would advise you to use this link: http://whatstheirip.com/ Moving on, IP addresses are normally very useful to have as they usually give you a rough idea of where your target lives and what their Internet Service Provider is. Do not rely on geographical locations linked to an IP address such as towns or cities as they are sometimes inaccurate. Even though this does not always have a very good success rate, it is worth passing their IP address through an "IP to Skype" tool which outputs Skype accounts that are linked to that IP address. These can be found on the resolvers mentioned above, as well as other resolvers. You can also search their IP address on Google in combination with their alias or e-mail address - with a bit of fortune you could hit the jackpot. Having somebody's IP address is also useful as you can boot them offline, and this can be a huge annoyance to somebody with a static IP, meaning that their IP address does not change when they reset their router. All in all, you are unlikely to start with an IP address. But an IP address can help you find out roughly where someone lives, and also their ISP and phone provider if they have used roaming on their Skype accounts or anywhere else where their IP is at risk. Beware of people who use proxies and/or VPNs on their Skype accounts as they can mislead you. A good site to use when wanting to find out more information about an IP address and whether it is a VPN/proxy or an unmasked IP is http://whatismyipaddress.com ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x05 - Online Accounts │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ Online accounts are linked closely to aliases since all online accounts have an alias in one way or another. You are likely to know at least one online account of your target before doxing them, and this can lead you to more information. A lot of the time, people tend to name their online accounts very similarly or even identically on most websites. However, the online accounts that you are searching for are probably the ones that contain more personal information than the rest of the online accounts; i.e social media profiles such as the target's profile on Facebook. Once you find that, you are likely to have found the target's real name, family details, more aliases of online accounts and if you are lucky perhaps an e-mail address and a phone number. Also, if you find the target's Facebook account, you can try to reset their password by pasting in their username into Facebook's password reset function; that way, you will find parts of the e-mail address linked to the account as well as parts of any phone number(s) linked to it. Usually when compiling a dox, it is wise to link to as many online accounts of the target as you can find as you may have skipped over a lead which would lead you to even more information that you have not yet discovered, and so perhaps somebody else who views your dox of the said person will be fortunate enough to stumble upon that lead, thus making the dox even better. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x06 - Phone Numbers │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ Phone numbers are probably one of the most useful pieces of information that you can add to a dox, as most people feel uncomfortable with having their phone number published on the internet in a dox. Landlines can reveal more information about where someone lives and mobile phone numbers can usually inform you regarding what phone carrier your target uses. It is unlikely that you will have the phone number of a target before starting on a dox, but you never know. Sometimes people add their phone numbers to their Skype accounts and/or other online accounts such as Facebook. Finding somebody's phone number is usually hard though, especially if they have not posted it anywhere and if they are under 18, as phone directories do not tend to include the details of people under 18. However, if you have tried everything and still cannot get your target's number, then I would suggest socially engineering them for it, or getting somebody else to do this if you do not want them to find out that you doxed them. What you have to do is quite simple and has a fair chance of working - approach them online and tell them that you need to verify your Google account but you do not have any mobile phone to use since your one is being repaired. If they trust you enough, or if they want to help you, they will send you their phone number and there you have it. I would suggest actually verifying a Google account with this number so they do not get suspicious about it. If your target is over 18 and you have their real name and/or address, then it is easier to find their phone number through an online directory. If they live in the USA, I would suggest using this site - http://thatsthem.com and searching for their name with or without the address at the side and it will display some useful information such as landlines and sometimes mobile phones. You can also look for mentions of a phone number on social media profiles of the target's family (especially those who may live with your target). If your target lives in the UK, I would suggest using http://thephonebook.bt.com (BT's Phone Book). If your target lives elsewhere, then a simple Google search for "[Insert country here] Phone Directory" or "[Insert country here] Phone Lookup" should yield results. Additionally, if you would like to confirm that a phone number is valid and/or still functioning, then you can always call that number or get somebody else to call it and ask for your target's name or name(s) of their family member(s). That way you can make sure that you have the correct number, and that it is in fact active. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x07 - Addresses │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ Addresses are also very useful details to include in a dox, as with an address you can make the target feel uncomfortable since people can take out actions with that address such as pizza bombing or even swatting in extreme situations. Addresses are similar to phone numbers in the sense that it is almost impossible to find the address of your target if they are under 18 just by searching their name, but of course it is possible to find their address with family details. If your target is over 18, I would suggest using http://thatsthem.com for people who live in the USA. For people who live in the UK, I would suggesting using the following site - http://thephonebook.bt.com as it is quite reliable and free. Also, feel free to google your target's address and see what you can get on it. Of course, if they live somewhere else, you can find a directory in their country by searching "[Insert country here] People Finder" or "[Insert country here] Address Finder". In addition to all of that, a lot of people for some reason tend to upload photos of the exterior view of their house(s) online. So if you stumble upon a link where your target or their family member(s) have posted a picture of their house, then you are in luck. A lot of the time you will find that many people have the same name, and so for example if you search somebody's name on ThatsThem - http://thatsthem.com you may get a lot of matches i.e people who live at different addresses but share the same name. So if that is the case, and you know what the house looks like, you can use Google Maps street view to check which house is situated at the address of the house in the picture you found before. That is a pretty simple technique that should always work. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x08 - Family Details │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ Family details are very powerful details to include in a dox, since most people do not want to see their family's information posted publicly because of their own actions or roles. I usually tend to include family information in a dox in the format of a "mini-dox". What I mean by this is that I usually dedicate a section of the dox to "Family Details" where I briefly include the most basic information of the family members, i.e their address, phone number(s), Facebook profiles and whatever else I can find, although sometimes I do not feel that it is necessary to include too much useless information such as profiles on different websites, though this varies and is completely up to you and depends on how much information you can find and how much of it you deem necessary to include in a dox of your target. You can also reverse search addresses and landlines to find out who else lives at those addresses and therefore uses those landlines, and this is a decent technique as by doing this you can gain more information on the target's family. It also happens to be the case that a lot of the time, you can find out about family members on their family members' social media profiles. By this I mean that you could find out a specific family member's birthday, wedding date, death date as well as family photos which are very useful as you can usually get the names of other family members by looking at those who are tagged in the picture or who have commented or liked it on Facebook. It also happens to be the case that some people are fine with having their own information posted, such as their mobile phone number, but once somebody has posted their sibling's mobile phone number or a mobile phone number belonging to their parents, they will be less accepting of this fact. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x09 - Photos │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ Photos are, in my opinion, essential for any dox you make. Even if you include every single detail about the individual apart from their photos, I feel that that dox would be incomplete because you just need to broadcast how somebody looks as it tends to make most targets feel uncomfortable (which seems to be a theme in this doxing guide). You can find photos on social media profiles and online accounts as well as on the site of the educational facility the person attends or has attended (i.e. a school or a university). Once you have found a photo of your target, you can also perform a reverse search on it to find out where else it appears on the internet. You can do this using Google's reverse search image tool which can be achieved by searching the direct image URL of an image on Google and then clicking "For matching images, try search by image". Another useful site which performs a similar task is http://TinEye.com - TinEye Reverse Image Search. Photos can reveal a lot about a person, as you can find out where they have travelled, what music they listen to, who their friends are, what their general mood is as well as many, many more details that would take up more than a whole page if I included them. You get the catch though, people do not usually want to see their photos posted online in combination with all their personal information, for reasons stated multiple times above. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:2x10 - Other Details │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ Of course, different people reveal different details about themselves and these can vary greatly. You may be able to find what school somebody attends whereas you may find what band somebody is in on another doxing mission. It is completely up to you regarding how "deep" you want the target doxed and how many details you want to include inside your dox. I have seen doxes that went so far that they included the working hours of a person. If you feel that that will make your dox look better, then there is no reason not to include it. In order to find other details, simply browse around on their social media profiles and use Google to search different details you already have on the target in order to lead yourself to even more details. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:3x01 - Distributing Doxes │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ Now that you have succesfully doxed someone, the hard part is out of the way. However you are not done until you decide to distribute the dox and make it available online. Now, a lot of people decide to upload their doxes to PasteBin, but that is not the best idea as PasteBin removes pastes which are reported for containing that much personal information. So I would suggest hosting your doxes on any of the following websites, or all of them if you would like to: * http://fbi.yt/dox * http://skidpaste.org * http://paste.sh I would also suggest posting your doxes on those sites with an encrypted connection, i.e. by using a VPN or Tor. By doing so, you are not linking your own personal information (your IP address) to the dox. This is completely up to you but as a person who takes their anonymity seriously, I would never post a dox without having a VPN on. After you have posted the dox as many times and in as many places as you like, it is time to notify people about it. I personally do not like sending the dox myself to the person as I do not like adding my own alias on doxes I make. Therefore, you can make a fake Skype account and contact your target by Skype and send it to them in that way - keep them wondering. Or, you can tell somebody else to send them the dox and give the excuse of randomly stumbling across it online. Once the target has seen their dox, there are usually two common reactions. The first is that they will panic and say that they will do anything for you to remove their dox. The second is that they will still panic, but they will say that the dox is inaccurate in order to try and confuse you. Most of the time when people say that their own dox is inaccurate, they are lying in an attempt to protect their information. Again, you can verify whether that information is valid or not by checking for links between aliases and social media profiles as well as phoning numbers and asking for the target. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:4x01 - Reminders and Tips │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ There are some things you should know when doxing people that will help you in a lot of ways that have not been included above. I have decided to include them in a list format. 1. WHOIS searches - If your target owns a website, then their information is at risk if they are not using WHOISGuard or if they have not included fake information in their site's contact details. Basically, whenever a domain is registered, the person who registers it is asked to provide their personal information as the contact details of the domain. These usually include a real name, e-mail address, address and phone number. My favorite tool for doing WHOIS searches is this one: http://centralops.net/co/DomainDossier.aspx as it gives you a lot of options. The "domain whois record" is the one that will provide the aforementioned details. Keep in mind though that some people use WHOISguard, where their personal information is protected, while others include fake information. 2. Be organized - Organization is vital for any doxer. Make sure your doxes are easy to read and that they are visually appealing. Also make sure that you organize your doxes well on your computer and make sure to keep them safe, as you do not want to find yourself in a situation where you have lost a dox that you spent hours on just because you accidentally deleted it or because you cannot find it on your computer or hard drive. Being organized applies to most tasks that you do in real life as well as on the computer. 3. Look for previous doxes of your target - Sometimes, you will find out that somebody that you were planning on doxing has already been doxed. This is usually good news because it makes your job much easier or even completely redundant. You can also dox the victim and see if you find the same information, therefore validating the dox and if the dox is missing details that you feel should be included then you can use that dox to start off with and add the details that you want to add. 4. Watch out for fake doxes - A lot of the time people post fake doxes of themselves or of others in order to protect their information. Fake doxes can be confusing as they will lead you to the wrong information and make your job more difficult to complete, but the good thing is that most fake doxes are easy to spot. A lot of the time, information seems wildly inaccurate - like a person listed as living in a country that is not very popular or extravagant claims where the target is claimed to have been part of a very famous hacking group. Sometimes information does not match with eachother, like they may include a landline and an address that do not match with eachother and you instantly know that the dox has a large probability of being fake. If you want to make a fake dox of yourself, it is advisable that you make sure all the information is linked well with eachother and you could get somebody to post it who has posted a lot of doxes before, thus making it seem more plausible. 5. Be careful if you are going to sell your doxing service - Most people who run paid doxing services tend to only accept cryptocurrencies such as BitCoin in order to preserve their anonymity and not link their doxing services to their personal PayPal accounts. I would not advise selling doxing services and accepting payments via PayPal, unless it is not your own personal PayPal account and/or it does not contain your own personal information. If you are going to accept PayPal payments, make sure that you accept them as "Friends and Family" payments so the buyer cannot chargeback on their transaction and cause your PayPal account to get in trouble. 6. Protect your own privacy when doxing - As previously mentioned, it is advisble to stay as secure as possible when doxing somebody and publishing their dox. This is so you do not get doxed yourself or run into any trouble for doxing somebody, which could range from being banned on your favorite forum to constantly being booted offline. Always make sure to use a safe VPN while doxing and publishing your dox, make sure your Skype is unresolvable, make sure that your doxing aliases do not link back to you in any way and try your best not to brag about doxing people since that will probably just lead to problems and enemies. 7. Be aware of de-tracing - The concept of de-tracing refers to removing any information about yourself from websites and from search engines. That mention of the country you live in that you made on a forum post? Delete that post, and then visit Google's Webmaster Tools to remove it from Google's cache here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals De-tracing can be very helpful in making yourself much harder to dox, but it can also make other people much harder to dox. The truth is that the majority of internet users are not aware of this concept and so it is unlikely that your target will have already de-traced themselves; but people tend to become more wary of this concept after they have been doxed. De-tracing also deals with breaking links between aliases, online accounts, e-mails and social media profiles. Also take note of the Right To Be Forgotten Law that Google complies with in Europe: https://support.google.com/legal/contact...=websearch 8. Be aware of how Google's cache works - Sometimes, you may find a Google search result that is relevant to your target but the website may be down or you may not be able to find any mentions of their details on that page. If that is the case, then that information has probably been removed from the actual site but unless they have carried out the steps mentioned above, you can probably still view an old version of the page by putting the term "cache:" before the URL in the URL bar. ╔──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╗ │ .:5x01 - Closing │ ╚──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╝ You have reached the end of AceOfSpades' Doxing Guide. [/hide]
